Who we are
Husband Contracting is an owner-operated contracting and handyman business serving Delta and Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We are responsible for the personal information we hold.
If you live in British Columbia, the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) applies to how a private-sector business like ours handles personal information. We also follow the fair information principles in the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
We collect only what we need to reply to you and to prepare an estimate:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- The project address or city, and the details you choose to share
- Photos you choose to attach
- Notes from a call, an email, or a visit
We do not ask for payment card numbers through this website. Hosting may keep ordinary server logs, such as a browser type and the page requested. We do not use this site to build advertising profiles.
Why we collect it
We use this information to answer questions, prepare a free estimate, schedule a visit, and keep a record of the work you asked about. We collect it with your consent when you call, email, or submit a form. You can refuse, and if you do we may not be able to reply or prepare an estimate.
How we share it
We do not sell personal information. We use it for the purposes above. If a hosting, email, or similar provider handles it for us, they may see it only so they can do that work. We do not share it for other companies’ marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and project details for as long as we need them to respond, do the work, and meet ordinary business record needs. After that we delete them or remove details that identify you.
Safeguards
We limit access to people who need it for the work, and we expect any service provider to protect it. No website or inbox is perfectly secure. Please avoid sending sensitive information we did not ask for.
Your choices
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for a correction, or withdraw consent for future use. Legal and record-keeping duties may limit what we can delete.
