Using this site
The site describes contracting and handyman services offered by Husband Contracting in British Columbia. The pages are general information. They are not a contract, a price, or advice about your particular property. You are responsible for how you use what you read here.
Estimates and work
Prices are not listed on this site because the work depends on the property, the materials, and the scope. A request through the quote form, the contact form, or a phone call is an invitation for us to follow up. An estimate is free and without obligation. Work starts only after you and we agree on the scope.
Any deposit or payment timing is written into that quote before work begins. Descriptions on the service pages are examples of the kinds of work we take on. They are not a promise that every property can take the same approach.
Service area
We currently describe our service area as Delta, Burnaby, North Vancouver, Port Moody, Coquitlam, New Westminster, and surrounding communities in Metro Vancouver. If you are outside that area, ask us before you count on a visit.
What you send us
Photos, addresses, and project notes you send should be yours to share. We use them to understand the project and prepare an estimate. Please do not send information about someone else unless you have their permission.
The website itself
The text, logo, and layout of this site belong to Husband Contracting. You may not copy them for another business. Project photos on the site are for illustration. You may share a link to a page.
We may change or remove pages, and we may update these terms. The date at the top will change when the terms change. The site is provided as a general guide. If something on a page conflicts with the quote we send you, the quote is what governs the job.
Liability
To the extent British Columbia and Canadian law allow, we are not liable for loss that comes only from using the website, such as relying on a general description without a quote. This does not limit rights you have under that law, and it does not limit liability for construction work that is covered by a separate agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the laws of Canada that apply here. Disputes about the website are heard in the courts of British Columbia.
